Social first
Games are there to help people connect, not to make the venue feel exclusive to hobbyists.
About the caféA place to
A place to
spend time together.
The Board Game Café is an independent, family-friendly social venue built around games, desserts, conversation and giving friends, families and groups somewhere different to spend time together.
What we’re buildingLess formality.
Less formality.
More reasons to stay.
The idea is deliberately broader than a traditional board-game café.
More than one activity
Board games, consoles, screens, sport, movie nights, desserts and events all sit under one roof.
Family friendly
Families and children are welcome, with games, consoles, desserts and relaxed seating giving different ages something to enjoy.
